Just The F.A.QS

Is this Ganache Parfums or Haught Parfums?

No, while I am the creator and perfumer of both Haught Parfums and Ganache Parfums, The Broun Suga Co. Is not connected to either of the previously mentioned companies outside of that.  Full transparency: I am using the old Shopify storefront for Haught Parfums for the new Broun Suga Co. website.

Where is my order?

Currently, I am a one-man show. As much as I love creating perfumes, I must work full-time to afford life's luxuries, like food and hot water.

It is essential to me that every fragrance meets strict quality standards and I take great care in processing all orders.

What does this mean, you ask?

Here is how the shipping cycle works:

Orders placed from Sun-Thursday are usually shipped on Friday or Saturday of the next week. The most up-to-date shipping times are always reflected in the website's top banner and terms and conditions agreement at checkout.

Once your shipping label has been printed, you will receive an email stating that your order has entered "shipped" status. This means your order has moved to the packaging stage, and it could take up to four business days before the courier service receives your package. Please follow the tracking number provided for all updates leading to delivery.

Once your tracking has updated to "In Transit", your order has been released and is en route to you.

Can I return my order if it doesn't work for me?  Cosmetics cannot be reused once they are opened or used. So, unfortunately, I cannot accept returns on products after they leave my workshop. However, I do offer samples for all my perfumes so Hey you can try the fragrance out before committing to a full-size bottle.

Sometimes the shipping process can be a female dog! So, If something should leak or get damaged in transit, please contact us as soon as you receive so I can make it right.

I’ve Got Product Questions:

What type "base" or "carrier" do you use?

I use a proprietary blend for my perfume base consisting of 200 proof ethanol denatured with acetone, plant based oils, vitamin e and distilled water.

Do your perfumes contain parabens or sunscreens or colorants?  No I do, however, use a lot of natural essential and tinctures in my products so the slight color variations come from the natural color of the essential oils used.

Do you use only natural fragrance ingredients? No, I do use natural essential oils and absolutes in nearly every fragrance I design. I depend heavily on these to give the fragrances layers and interest. I also use high-quality synthetic aroma ingredients.

Do you use animal ingredients or are your products vegan? Do you test on animals?

All of my products are tested on friends, family, and other kind people who volunteer. I never use animal musk, civet, or castoreum; whenever these notes are listed in the fragrance notes, they are always synthetic. I do have a few fragrances that use animal-derived ingredients such as beach-found ambergris and beeswax absolute. Whenever these notes are used, they are always listed in the notes.

Do you sell men’s cologne?

Fun fact: cologne doesn't actually mean a fragrance is designed for men. This is merely a product of clever marketing by the fragrance industry.

What Cologne really refers to is the concentration Of aromatic compound materials In relation to the fragrance base.

All of my fragrances are unisex, though some may appeal to men more than women and vice versa. This is really a matter of personal choice. We offer samples of all our fragrances so you can try them out and see which ones work best for you.
